I base my couples work on the science behind attachment theory, Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy, and psychodynamic approaches. I am uniquely trained in drama therapy, which is especially helpful for couples who are stuck in rigid roles and repetitive arguments.
I am particularly interested in helping couples work through sexual difficulties. I have 5 years experience as a human sexuality scholar, educator, and activist, including: honors-level studies in sexuality, romance, and gender at the University of California, Santa Barabara and the California Insitute of Integral Studies; presentations and public health events focused on educating undergraduate students about sex and relationships; and several theater productions focused on women's sexuality and LGBTQ issues, some of which raised thousands of dollars for global charities.
